Savory Herb Biscuits with coconut flour, sprinkled with paprika |
Ingredients
6 eggs
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp freshly ground salt
1 tblsp fresh rosemary or sage leaves, chopped ( I used dried rosemary)
Here's How
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, coconut oil and vinegar until well combined
- Sift in the coconut flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt and stir to combine. Add the herbs and give it a quick stir
- Line a baking tray / sheet with baking paper and using a large spoon, dollop the mixture onto the tray/sheet in 12 small portions. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
- To make muffins, fill 6 muffin liners or muffin cups with the mixture, evenly distributed, bake for approximately 25 minutes or until the muffins are set and the edges turn golden brown
